I am so excited! I had to jump on and announce that I will be making a video about my new office space! It’s not going to be complete because I have a few things I need to wait on. But, it’s enough of a start to get me out of the living room and into a space that will, hopefully, be less distracting and I can actually get more work done. What a concept, right?
Here’s a little of what you will see in the video. The room used to be my brother-in-law’s bedroom. He moved shortly after Joe and I got married and, for a while, became a catch-all for crap room. We cleared it out, spot painted, and it’s ready for me to move in. So, I’ll start filming the set-up process tomorrow and have it up by week’s end at the latest. Then, when I get the furniture I want and a few decorative items, I’ll do an updated tour video.
I have a bunch of things I would like to get to decorate the space. A lot of bookish things I found on Etsy I think would look fantastic. Starting with Ravenclaw themed and then maybe I’ll throw in some Doctor Who and Game of Thrones geekery. And, whatever else I find that would work in the space. Within reason, though. It’s not a very big room. I could always switch things up if I wanted to, I guess. All depends on what I’m able to get.
So, keep an eye out on Social Media for that video. Like I said, I plan to release it no later than Friday. Seeing that I’ll be out of town Thursday and I have to work Friday, I’ll shoot for sooner but Friday at the latest.
