Weekly Goals- Jan 10, 2022

Hello lovely people!

We’ve survived the first week of the new year. The weather here in the CLE has been madness. From chilly and damp to absolutely freezing cold and snow. But, stayed warm and inside (mostly) and actually got back into writing again!

I finally cracked a peek at some feedback a friend sent me… in November. And, it was incredibly helpful. I started getting all of the ideas on how to fix the book. I rewrote chapter 1 on Friday and chapter 2 Saturday. I took a break on Sunday to focus on “Misadventures” and make some other notes. And, I’m back at it today. Peanut is back in daycare on her normal days this week so our routine is returning to normal… for a little while, anyway. I’m meeting with the school district and one of the organizations we work with for her speech therapy to start preschool prep, which could start after her birthday. So, another routine to get used to!

Now, let’s get into the goals for this week.

1) Keep working on this revised draft for my fiction series. It’s basically another rewrite with all the major changes that need to be done but my goal is to get 2 chapters per day done, so by Friday I should be on about chapter 13 or so.
2) Record my latest #HoldMyPurse update. I’ll talk more about this revision and other things I am planning for the platform.
3) Tidy office- Hubby bought me some bins so I can get rid of the diaper boxes and better organize my stuff.
4) Cleaning vlog- Considering jumping on the cleaning vlog bandwagon to hold me accountable to get my office done!

Alright, that’s what’s going on this week. Keep an eye on my YouTube channel for both videos. And, thank you for being here!
