I can’t do this series without mentioning Arlee Reust of Azkalynn Photography. She is a long time friend of my sister’s and she was our wedding photographer. She and her second shooter, Stephanie, took these fantastic images. Here are a few favorites I’ll share with you. She worked so hard to make sure everything was how we wanted. I even had a list of pictures I wanted and they worked all day to cross as many off the list as possible.
Arlee came highly recommended. My sister has helped her out on a few occasions. Her prices are really reasonable, which is great when planning a wedding because the price can add up real quick. And, she is incredibly prompt in getting your pictures back to you. You get a flash drive and an online code for a Dropbox-like file. We met on multiple occasions to get all the particulars in order.
She is seriously one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She works so hard to make the process as simple as possible. She understands that wedding planning can be chaotic to say the least. So, she takes the time to meet with you and plan out everything you want to capture for your special day. That’s when the shot list came in handy. I wanted to look back on my wedding album and remember who was there. I didn’t need 600 pictures of the centerpieces and the “stuff.” I wanted to remember how my best friend’s little girl leapt 3 feet in the air to steal the bouquet and when my brother-in-law was running around with my sister’s shawl and folding fan.
