Off to a slow start this week getting things going. I outlined a little more yesterday. And, then, I got distracted because I got my hands on the second book in “A Song of Ice and Fire.” Well, the book on CD. 30… CDs to be precise. The package is huge and I hope I can listen to it in the 3 weeks I have it on loan. I’m going to write up a post about my thoughts on the first book. Because, I have a LOT of opinions on this book.
I received another rejection from an agency today. I’m going to send some more queries out this weekend to see what comes of it.
But, my outline is coming along. I am still in early chapters but I see a better direction than what I had in November. Some of the elements of the story gets darker than I’m used to. But, I think it’ll be a fun ride when the writing actually begins.
