Yeah, I know. Day late. Sorry. I had a lot of chores to tackle yesterday with my day job starting at a later time. I was taking advantage of the extra time.
Today, I’m off Day Job and am stuck at home after I drop my car off for repairs. So I WILL GET THIS BOOK DONE! I have to! I’ve been procrastinating so much, I should already have been hard core querying. Yes, I said querying. I talked things over with my husband and he agreed I should try the traditional route before we sink money into self-publishing. Starting with OfTomes Publishing and I’ve been looking up a few agents to try.
I have 3 1/2 chapters done. And, for a limited time, I’m posting it on WattPad for all to see. I have the first 22 chapters up and when I finish 23-26, I’ll add those as they are completed. I hope you check it out and let me know what you think. I’ve worked really hard on improving this book and I can’t wait to work on the sequels.
In other news, I am participating in NaNoWriMo. My project this year will be book 3 in my series. I don’t know if it will reach 50K. It might be a bit of a slog. But, I am super excited to get into this book because it’s a direction I’ve never gone in before.
Now, I need to get to work. If I don’t complete book 1, I can’t finish my query letters, and then I can’t get any notes for NaNo!
