Hey everyone!
Been super busy with book prep. I recently posted a video on my YouTube channel about the planner I’m using for all the book stuff. It’s still in the early stages but, if you’re curious, you can see it here. I’ve been printing off all kinds of things to keep track of my writing schedule, my expenses and income when I publish once more. In a bigger binder, I’m creating a “series bible.” One of the things I’m working on is a calendar for the timeline of the series. I printed off a bunch of blank calendars and I’ll fill in the dates and then shade in the dates that take place for each book. An example is the first book will be green, because that’s my favorite color. Book 3 will be orange since it takes place around Halloween. I’ll do another video on it in a few weeks once I have things more set up and organized.
I only have about 1200 words to go to meet my new word goal to query “OfTomes Publishing.” Once I complete that, I can focus on my query letter. I have a bunch of YouTube videos bookmarked on how to get it right.
I’m really hoping to have this done soon so I can focus on book 3 again. But, I’m not going to be too worried if I fail miserably again. It’s not the end of the world if I fail NaNoWriMo.
I didn’t realize the time so I need to get going. I’ll update again next week!
