Hey all,
I thought I’d do something fun this week and share a little bit about the cast of my series. I’m giving info as prior to book 1 so as not to reveal too many spoilers.
Tara Kavanagh: Tara is the main protagonist of the series. (Mostly. There are a few books that feature points of view from other characters) She’s a recent high school graduate. She decided to move to the small town of Coolersville when she was accepted to the college there. This is also the same town her paternal grandmother lives in. Tara’s mother wasn’t happy about this because of a number of disagreements she’s had with her mother-in-law but Tara’s determined to go and enjoy her summer before college.
Marissa Sanderson: Coolersville native, raised by her grandmother since she was 5 years old. She has always known about her family history of witches. Her grandmother taught her everything she knows. Just before Marissa graduated, her grandmother had a massive stroke and she had to give up going to her dream school so she could stay close to home.
Caitlin Kavanagh: Tara’s Gran, owns a gift shop in Coolersville. Scottish immigrant when she was about 10 years old. Married her childhood sweetheart and had 5 children- Liam, Aideen, Douglas, Malcolm, and Nessa (adopted).
Henry McKenna: Coolersville native, lives with his mom, aunt, and cousins. Went to school with Marissa. They were in a band for a short time together. Currently plays bass in a blues/rock band with a few of his childhood pals.
Loraine Glassman: Marissa’s Nana.
So, that’s some of my cast members for my series. Didn’t want to add too much because spoilers. But, this, hopefully, gives you an idea of some of the characters. There’s more than this but these are some of the main people.
