As September draws to a close, many people are looking forward to NaNoWriMo and that means October is Preptober where plans are made for all of the writing in November, whether that means outlines or character sheets or loading up on Halloween candy. And, in any other year, I would be participating. However…
My focus has been skinny drafting as much of the series as possible. My goal is to finish book 2 by the end of October. If I complete that early, then I’ll jump into book 3.
While this isn’t the traditional Preptober (fitting as 2020 is not a traditional year), I’m still going to make the most of any time I can. And, of course, I’ll be cheering on all my writing friends as they work on their projects.
