Trying to make Wednesdays my official update day so I can stay on top of keeping everyone notified of my writing progress. So, I’m calling it “Witches of Coolersville Wednesday.
Got up once again at 5. Formatted my copied file in Scrivener because Word no longer works for me until I renew the product license. I fixed up chapters 1-3 and sent them off to my editor. Now, I’m working on cleaning up the rest of the book a little more on my own until I get more of her notes next week.
I’m excited to see how the story improves. I’ve already added a couple hundred words to the manuscript.
I’m looking to switch from CreateSpace to Book Baby. If anyone has any opinions on this, let me know. It seems like Book Baby, while more expensive, has more services that could be helpful and it has wider distribution options. I like that you can order copies of the book as part of the cost, too, because there’s a local bookstore in my area that works on consignment of books from local writers. So, having those copies available would be great.
