WoC Wednesday- Jan 15, 2020

Hey! I’m actually getting an update out on time. Progress! But, when I hardly get anything done some days, there is nothing to report. This week has been good. Started over the weekend at work. I was, once again, changing around my planner system. If you want to see pictures, check out my Instagram. I created a section where I can track my hours worked and my tasks. I had this particular layout that I had no idea what to do with it. And then it clicked! I did have to white-out the part where there was time marked in the boxes so I could write down my own times. And then, when I have days when I can’t get out of bed and I get no work done, I cover that day with funny stickers. Yesterday was one of those days. My alarm went off at 4:30 but my body said “#*@& you! Go back to sleep.” So, I got up at 7 instead.

And, usually I only use about 5 spaces when I block out my time so then I decorate or add notes to the rest of the space. Maybe marking something like, “I intended on working until 7:30 but then the baby started crying at 7:15 so I had to cut it short.” Or, “Managed to get an hour in at the library during an event” or “Jotted notes at a doctor appointment.” It’ll be interesting to see what this looks like at the end of the year. I’m just glad I figured out a use for it.
